Harvard Center for Biological Imaging (HCBI)
All MCB graduate students, including G1s, have access to the Harvard Center for Biological Imaging. In order to access these facilities, students should complete the project registration form for Harvard Users available at: http://hcbi.fas.harvard.edu/hcbi_registration. For any questions on the membership process, please e-mail Connor Crowley: hcbi_admin@fas.harvard.edu.
The FAS Division of Science pays the hourly usage fees on behalf of any G1 students that have a need to use the facility as part of their rotations.
Training on the instruments is coordinated by the facility staff. To request a training on one of the microscopes in the facility, please contact Doug Richardson: drichardson@fas.harvard.edu. Please note that commercial microscope laser safety training, which is provided by EH&S, is required to use the HCBI. This can be completed online at the EHS website EH&S Training Management System.
- Please note that the doors are unlocked Monday-Friday 9am-7pm.
- The HCBI is located in the Biological Laboratories 2nd Floor, Room 2052.
